The Horse Laundry is based in Kingsclere, Hampshire. It is a family run business that was born out of owning horses with many rugs which needed cleaning, re-proofing and repairing on a regular basis. Unable to find a way of getting rugs cleaned to a high standard and returned in a reasonable time, it was decided to establish the horse laundry.
The laundry has a dedicated repair room, stocked with quality fabrics, bindings, buckles & threads etc; and a wash room with commercial quality washing machines. Rugs are washed in Nikwax products and air dried to prevent shrinkage. Once fully dry, rugs are carefully packaged ready for return to the customer.
The aim of our business is to provide the kind of service we would want for our own rugs: clean, re-proofed and repaired at a reasonable cost and with a quick turnaround
